The Football Federation of Belize had a controversial election back in August. Controversial because gatherings of greater than 10 were not permitted, but the FFB made a last-minute move to its headquarters - and had it outdoors so that there could be ample social distance between the limited number of persons who attended.

The event was monitored by police and had the blessing of the state - but a September 27th. decision by the Football Federation of Belize Election Appeal Committee says that election was null and void. A review found a number of inconsistencies and departures form statute.

The decision signed by appeal chairperson Jacqueline Willoughby says the election was unlawfully conducted and the old executive stands - until a new one is elected.
