For Friday and Friday night is for a few showers and isolated thunderstorms developing mostly during the afternoon hours over the mainland, and then offshore during the night.
Sargassum Forecast from November 10, 2020 to November 18, 2020:
No significant impact from sargassum is expected during the next few days. San Pedro has a low probability and a minimal expected impact.
Tropical Weather Outlook:
A tropical wave located over the central Caribbean Sea continues to produce a large area of showers and thunderstorms. There is a high chance that a tropical depression will form during the next couple of days as the wave moves slowly westward over the central and western Caribbean Sea. At 3:00am Tropical Storm Theta was centered near latitude 31.7N, longitude 30.2W, or about 470 miles SSW of the Azores. At 6:00am Tropical Storm Eta was located near latitude 29.7N, longitude 82.4W, or about 60 miles SW of Jacksonville, Florida.

The Caribbean Sea
There is a tropical wave and low pressure
moving across the area with a high chance of tropical
cyclogenesis. Moderate to fresh winds, and seas in the 5-7 ft
range prevail over the eastern Caribbean. Light to gentle winds,
and seas in the 2-4 ft range prevail over the central and western
Caribbean.
Low pressure along a tropical wave moving across the central
Caribbean has a high possibility of tropical cyclone development
late this week or this weekend while moving over the central or
western Caribbean.
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Eta, located northwest of Tampa, Florida, and on Tropical Storm Theta, located over the eastern Atlantic.
A tropical wave located over the central Caribbean Sea continues to produce a large area of showers and thunderstorms. Satellite imagery indicates that the disturbance is gradually becoming better organized, and a tropical depression will likely form during the next 2 to 3 days as it moves slowly westward over the central and western Caribbean Sea. Regardless of development, this system is expected to bring heavy rainfall along with possible flash flooding to the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and portions of Hispaniola over the next day or so. It is not clear yet, what is happening, not much movement of any air. Slow movement of cool air, down from the north, yet last night was warmer than the last 4 nights. Some cloud moving down over Corozal and some high level moving in from the west, but generally sunny.
Looks as if today will be mainly sunny, with just a little cloud and not much wind and probably no rain.
Better beware of Invest 98L forming now. A repeat of ETA but perhaps even stronger. Some models bringing it into Honduras as a Category 4-5.

Outlook: Between Friday afternoon and Saturday midday is for a few showers and isolated thunderstorms to develop around the country.
REGION 7 - On the RIO HONDO at Blue Creek and downstream at Santa Cruz, San Antonio, San Roman, and Douglas levels are now above normal and steady, this should continue into tomorrow. On the NEW RIVER at Tower Hill and Caledonia levels above normal and steady.
REGION 9 - On the MACAL RIVER, reservoir levels at all BECOL facilities are receding. At San Ignacio, Flood levels have receded to just below the low-level bridge, expect continued receding level through this evening into tomorrow morning. On the MOPAN RIVER at Benque Viejo Town Flood levels have receded to bank full stage, receding levels should continue into tomorrow morning. On the BELIZE RIVER, levels at Banana Bank and Double Run are Flooded and continues to rise, this should continue into tomorrow morning. On the CROOKED TREE LAGOON levels are now affecting the causeway and rising slowly. Residents in the Belize River areas are reminded to be vigilant of the RISING FLOOD WATERS as the Flood waters FROM THE MACAL AND MOPAN RIVERS ARE NOW MAKING ITS WAY DOWN TO THE COAST.
REGION 11 - Flood levels on the SIBUN RIVER near Freetown Sibun are receding and this should continue into tomorrow. Flood levels on the SOUTHERN LAGOON near Gales Point Village is receding. The watersheds on the EASTERN SLOPES OF THE MAYAN MOUNTAINS are above normal and receding. The SITTEE RIVER at Kendal Bridge is receding and is now near normal. The Swasey and Bladen branches of the MONKEY RIVER is receding and is now near normal levels. Levels on the RIO GRANDE at San Pedro Columbia and Big Falls are near normal. The MOHO RIVER at Jordan and Blue Creek South is above normal and steady, levels should begin to fall into tomorrow. Levels on the TEMASH RIVER near Crique Sam is above normal and falling, expect this to continue into tomorrow.
REGION 13 - On the SARSTOON RIVER levels are above normal and steady
