Belize City is below sea level and the city was built on swamp land. it has a lot of history plus historic buildings too and was a safe haven for pirates back in the day. It was a log wood settlement also. It is a part of the commonwealth plus being a part of the British crown. There's plenty to experience and do.

The Port of Belize is located in Belize City, its on Caesar Ridge Road and is the largest Port in the country where the majority of Belize's commercial imports and exports are processed.

This's why we need to take care of our nation. because our country is beautiful and it has some history built from the slavery years. For example the Saint John cathedral in Belize City. The new remodeled City Hall Building was the old market square and currently the operating swing bridge right next to city hall building and just down the way from the Baron Bliss monument. There's plenty to see and experience while you explore this amazing city.
