Update from Belize Water Services on San Pedro water supply. According to the company, full water supply and pressure to be restored by Wednesday, December 16, 2020.
Belize Water Services (BWS) apologizes to customers in San Pedro who have been experiencing water supply restrictions for the last week. This situation was caused by severe damage to one of our two water treatment plant motors. We are pleased to announce that the remedial works to repair the plant motor are expected to be completed by end of today, Monday, December 14, 2020.
The plant is expected to be restored to full production capacity by 7:00pm today. This will allow San Pedro system to have significantly increased pressure by 5:00am on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, and to have full water supply and pressure by 5:00am on Wednesday, December 16, 2020.
BWS again apologizes for the inconveniences caused and ask customers' understanding under the circumstances_ We assure customers that the company puts all efforts possible to ensure continuity of service to you our valued customers, as we fully understand the importance of water. especially at this time.
