Senior Dive Instructor at Ramonís Village, San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize, Adolfo Ayuso has just recently completed Fragments of Hopeís Reef Replenishment course. This makes him qualified to establish new coral formations in Belizeís waters. Adolfo joined the program under his own initiative and is now our islandís coral gardener or reef builder, you might say.

Fragments of Hope (FoH) is a not-for-profit community-based organization registered in 2013 in Placencia Village, Belize focusing primarily on the challenge of coral reef restoration and advocacy for the sustainable management of associated habitats.

Adolfo joins many Belizeans in the program in taking on the responsibility to replant (or re-seed) devastated reefs with genetically robust, diverse and resilient corals that will mature to spawning age/size, allowing the reef to grow. ďWe couldnít be prouder of our staff at Ramonís Village Divers; we appreciate you Adolfo, and glad you are a member of our team,Ē posts Ramonís Village on their Facebook Profile.
