Municipal Elections are fast approaching, and candidates eyeing the post of mayor from both the United Democratic Party (UDP) and the People’s United Party (PUP) have already announced their intentions to contest the upcoming political race on March 3, 2021. These aspiring candidates and their respective councilor slates will seek the opportunity to serve San Pedro Town for 2021-2024.
Current UDP mayor Daniel Guerrero appears not to be seeking re-election. The full slate of each party is expected to be revealed soon, and the race for the town’s leadership will begin. Unofficial reports are that some of the slates will include new blood in an attempt to introduce young and energetic people with better ideas to improve San Pedro.
