Lovely photo Elbert!!!!
There is still a general drift of cool air from the north over most of Belize, the Caribbean wind being diverted southwards towards Honduras. ITCZ activity, which at this time of the year is way down south of us, typically produces areas of cloud, which then stream up northwards, and due to the rotation of Earth, then curve round to form the high level SW winds, which is what we often see and had been dominating the upper air over the Yucatan and the Gulf for days now. But another such development much closer to us, near Panama is resulting in high level clouds coming straight up from the south, over Honduras and into the Caribbean sea right now. But the cool air from the NW is holding the normal Caribbean winds away from Belize.
Looks as if today will again, be very similar to yesterday, cloud over most of Belize some sun in the south, probably little or no rain today.
