The Caribbean Sea
Fresh to strong N winds are over the NW Caribbean behind a cold
front that extends from eastern Cuba SW to the eastern Gulf of
Honduras. These winds will shift to the far SW Caribbean this
evening, reaching near gale force speeds along Nicaragua offshore
waters. Winds will start to diminish in the SW basin Wed morning
as the front stalls from Hispaniola to Costa Rica before dissipating
Wed night. Mainly fair weather is across the basin being supported
by deep layer dry air. Shallow moisture associated with the front
and middle level diffluence support scattered showers and tstms in
portions of Haiti and the Windward Passage.
Fresh to locally strong trade winds in the southern Caribbean
will expand to the north-central basin and the Windward Passage
Thu and prevail through Sat night. Otherwise, long-period N swell
over the NE Caribbean passages and the Tropical N Atlantic will
start to subside today.
The cold air from the NNW has completely pushed the Caribbean air away, but it is bringing some clouds with it. So parts of Belize are under significant cloud.
Looks as if it will be sunny in parts and cloud in central and other parts, probably no rain though.
Temperatures in Belmopan : ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler ) Last Night 20°C 68°F Yesterday 27°C 81°F Yesterday Rain 0.3 mm ( 0")
Which are different to the other air mass around it and making a very sharp edge differences in the clouds not over Belize. It looks as if the west cold air is pushing under the central cloudy cold air and pushing it against the Caribbean air.
Present Condition: Partly cloudy. A cool and dry air mass dominates our weather. SMALL CRAFT CAUTION: Operators of small crafts are advised to exercise caution for locally rough seas.
24hr Forecast: Variably cloudy and cool conditions to prevail with little or no rainfall.
Outlook: Mainly fair and mostly dry conditions expected for Wednesday afternoon through midday Thursday.

=============== Looks like two different cold bubbles coming down from the north, causing two different types of clouds. Some stationary cloud over Honduras, and strange cloud building just off PG, also an odd high level coming down from the NW, towards they Yucatan, just before sunset.
