Present Condition: Thin clouds over the country this morning except for in San Pedro and a thin strip along the shoreline. Clearing early today. Mainly fair weather will prevail.

Sunny with a few cloudy spells today and clear to partly cloudy tonight. Little or no rainfall is expected. Temperatures will continue to be cool, especially during the night.

Sargassum Forecast from February 3 to February 10:
There continues to be a medium chance of Sargassum affecting local beaches in the coming days producing moderate impacts. San Pedro has a medium probability and a moderate expected impact.
Tropical Weather Outlook:
There are no organized tropical features across the Atlantic basin at this time. Updates will resume at the beginning of the 2021 hurricane season (June 1).

Marine Conditions:
The Caribbean Sea
A stationary front passes through the western sections of Haiti
near 20N72W to Panama near 09N80W. Isolated showers are within
120 nm to the W and NW of the stationary front.
A surface trough extends from 22N65W in the Atlantic Ocean, to
NW Puerto Rico, to Lake Maracaibo in NW Venezuela. Isolated
showers are apparent with the surface trough.
A surface trough extends from 11N74W in northern Colombia, to
beyond 08N80W in Panama, and into the eastern Pacific Ocean. No
significant deep convective precipitation is apparent with the
surface trough.
Broken to overcast low level clouds, and isolated showers, span
the rest of the Caribbean Sea, moving with the surface-to-low
level wind flow.
The stationary front will weaken and gradually dissipate today.
High pressure building north of the Caribbean Sea will support
fresh to strong trade winds near the coast of Colombia through
Monday.
The Caribbean winds are now firmly back from the ESE but the surface cool air is from the SW at present. There are patchy clouds over central Belize, sun in the north and south. There will be some heavier clouds rolling in this morning, which could cause some patches of rain in central and north areas.
Looks as if today will be mainly sunny, but with significant clouds and a chance of the odd rain shower.
