There continues to be a medium chance of Sargassum affecting local beaches in the coming days producing moderate impacts. San Pedro has a medium probability and a moderate expected impact.

There are no organized tropical features across the Atlantic basin at this time. Updates will resume at the beginning of the 2021 hurricane season (June 1).

Marine Conditions:
The Caribbean Sea
A stationary front passes through the western sections of Haiti
near 20N72W to Panama near 09N80W. Isolated showers are within
120 nm to the W and NW of the stationary front.
A surface trough extends from 22N65W in the Atlantic Ocean, to
NW Puerto Rico, to Lake Maracaibo in NW Venezuela. Isolated
showers are apparent with the surface trough.
A surface trough extends from 11N74W in northern Colombia, to
beyond 08N80W in Panama, and into the eastern Pacific Ocean. No
significant deep convective precipitation is apparent with the
surface trough.
Broken to overcast low level clouds, and isolated showers, span
the rest of the Caribbean Sea, moving with the surface-to-low
level wind flow.
The stationary front will weaken and gradually dissipate today.
High pressure building north of the Caribbean Sea will support
fresh to strong trade winds near the coast of Colombia through
Monday.
Present Condition: Mostly clear skies. Fair and dry conditions continues to dominate our weather.
24hr Forecast: Mostly sunny skies today. Tonight skies will partly cloudy becoming clear at times. No rainfall is expected.
Outlook: For Saturday afternoon thur to Sunday afternoon is for continuing fair and warm weather with little or no rainfall.

River Conditions
REGION 7 - On the RIO HONDO at Blue Creek. Santa Cruz, San Antonio, San Roman and Douglas, levels are below normal and have increased minimally. On the NEW RIVER at Tower Hill and Caledonia levels are above normal and have increased minimally.
REGION 9 - On the MACAL RIVER reservoir levels at all BECOL facilities are below the spillway; while at San Ignacio. levels are below the low-level bridge and steady. Levels on the MOPAN RIVER at Benque Viejo Town are above normal and falling. The BELIZE RIVER at Double Run is above normal and falling. The CROOKED TREE LAGOON remains at FLOOD STAGE and continues to fall slowly.
REGION 11 - Levels on the SIBUN RIVER at Freetown Sibun is normal and steady. Levels on the SOUTHERN LAGOON near Gales Point Village is near normal and falling. The watersheds on the EASTERN SLOPES OF THE MAYAN MOUNTAINS are normal and steady. The SITTEE RIVER at Kendal Bridge is normal and steady. The Swasey and Bladen branches of the MONKEY RIVER are below normal and falling. Levels on the DEEP RIVER at Medina Bank are below normal and steady. Levels on the RIO GRANDE at San Pedro Columbia and Big Falls South are below normal and steady. On the MOHO RIVER at Blue Creek South and Jordan levels are near normal and falling. On the TEMASH RIVER near Crique Sarco levels are below normal and steady.
REGION 13 - On the SARSTOON RIVER levels are normal and steady.
FLOOD FORECAST
REGION 7 - On the RIO HONDO at Blue Creek, Santa Cruz, San Antonio, San Roman and Douglas to the coast, no significant change is expected. On the NEW RIVER at Tower Hill and Caledonia, no significant change is expected.
