This is an extract from the 1911 Report of the Surveyor General. In that year the sum allocated for the work of his department was $23,387 of which he expended $18,437.10. Note the Special Work in relation to the Guatemalan Border: "In consequence of a reported trespass on the Crown Lands between the Temash and the Moho Rivers by a concessionaire of the Guatemalan Republic, it became necessary with the consent of that Government to run a dividing line between the two countries which would be sufficiently accurate to prevent future occurrences of a like nature."

The exercise took 4 months, 7 miles was cut at a cost of $1000.00
