Ambergris Today is sad to announce the passing of Luciola Munoz Romero affectionately known as Lucy. She put up a strong battle against cancer. She was a lifelong secret of the San Pedro Cancer Society.

The wake will be held tonight at her residence in Escalante Subdivision. Funeral services will be announced later. May She Rest In Peace.

Mayor Daniel Guerrero, the San Pedro Town Council, and Staff join the entire community of San Pedro in expressing their sincere condolences to the Muñoz and Romero family and friends on the sad passing of Mrs. Luciola Muñoz, affectionately known as Lucy.

We hope they find strength in each other to overcome this great loss. She was a true warrior! May her soul rest in peace and rise in glory.
