Three major events this week: March 3rd Municipal Elections, Rollout of COVID-19 Vaccine and Budget Preparations.

Over the past few days alone we have seen improvements to the water system in Bullet Tree, a new bridge at Calla Creek, better living conditions for our soldiers at Price Barracks, 50 tons of cacao exported and hundreds of sheep farmers receiving technical support.

PM Briceño's Message - The Direction of Hope

We respect the 15,000 plus persons that make up the public sector, and mindful of the needs of our 420,000 citizens.

This is the direction of hope.

I urge you to remain careful, and vigilant and encourage your family members to get the vaccine.

It is the foundation upon which the world and Belize will recover, and the simple fact is – it saves thousands of lives each day.

We are already in May, and our fight for economic rebound and control of COVID19 continues at a high-pitched pace.

The Belize story of the containment of the coronavirus is not being properly told because the daily struggles of our people are difficult and real.

Thousands of our citizens are looking for work having lost 100% or 50% of their salaries, some have been out of work for more than a year.

For thirteen years, there was silence, because we had a government that was vindictive and bullying -- now we have open government.

My friends together we must move forward, if not we will all crash.
