Sustainably farmed in Placencia Village by Belize Women's Seaweed Farmers Association for use in salads (a brand new product), powdered, capsule, cosmetic and sun dried then reconstituted as a gel for drinks.
The beverage is traditionally sold by bicycle peddlers in reused beer bottles, but this wonderful culinary find is now hitting restaurants and bars in unique gastronomical applications and I could not be more excited!!
