INFRASTRUCTURE ROAD WORKS CONTINUES ON 4TH AVENUE IN COROZAL
Many business along 4th Avenue have been complaining about the dusty conditions, as a result of the current infrastructure works being carried out by the utility company.
Aiming to bring down dust pollution, as a result of the on going road and BWSL infrastructure works, water sprinkling by the Corozal Town Council has started on 4th Avenue.
The Corozal Town Council advises motorists, cyclists and pedestrians that access to 4th Avenue, between 3rd St. North (Zaara's Boutique) and 5th St. North (Benns Shop) will be closed to allow for upgrade works to commence along that section.
The works include the ripping of the street and the changing of main pipes by Belize Water Services before the paving of the street commences. Meanwhile, the Council will install a drainage system for all of 4th Avenue to ensure the longevity of the paved road.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused, and thank the public for their patience and understanding.
