The Ministry of Infrastructure Development & Housing is happy to announce that the newly upgraded Baking Pot ferry in Spanish Lookout is back in the water. The ferry was damaged during the floods, and upon inspection our MidH noticed that it was badly deteriorated and a risk to those using it. Our personnel got to work, and all the rotted sections have been replaced, holes fixed and new cables attached. We thank all persons who regularly use the ferry for their patience, and give thanks to the team which went above and beyond to get the ferry operational again.
