On Friday, April 23rd 2021, Mayor Wally Nunez met with mayors from the 7 municipalities in Belize. This meeting was held in the city of Belmopan.

During the visit he was presented with a "sister city relationship" certificate by the Mayoress Sharon Palacio of Belmopan.

Mayor Wally, in return, presented her with a hand carved token of appreciation.
