In conformity with his portfolio of public utilities, Councilor Ernesto Bardalez would like to inform the public that he will be meeting with Representatives of the Belize Water Services Expansion Unit & the Belize Electricity LTD, to discuss the lack of basic utility services in particular areas of San Pedro Town.

On April 29, 2021, Mayor Wally Nunez and councilor Ernesto Bardalez met with BWS representative Mr. Edward Eck. Mr. Eck led an informative session where he laid out the goals and limitations of the company.

The Mayor and the councilor discussed and presented concerns from the community and have established a structure of communication with BWS to better assist and guide our community as it pertains to applying for water services. An update will be given to all the residents who sent their information to Coucilor Ernesto. The next step is to have Mr. Eck, Mayor Wally Nunez and Coucilor Ernesto Bardalez personally visit the communities that are lacking water services.
