And while the nurse's go slow is set for Wednesday, like we reported earlier, a meeting between the joint unions and the government is set for Tuesday - a day after PSU's strike notice ends. And while we anticipate the results of that meeting, it is unclear what the public officer's strike action will look like if those results are unfavorable.
What we do know is that the BNTU remains committed to its strike and the teachers feel that it is getting results - at least on the good governance side. They say government has coughed up a draft of the whistleblowers legislation they have been using for.
What we do not know is what percentage of the four thousand teachers are actually on strike, and whether anyone's pay has been cut yet for missing work. That information remains elusive.
