Councilor Johnnia Duarte kindly invited interested residents to join her team for a beach clean-up day! The beach clean-up will be held on World Ocean Day (Tuesday, June 8th) We will meet at the Boca Del Rio Park at 7:30AM and depart to the Robles Point Turtle nesting site.

To sign up message us on the SPTC Facebook page or Instagram. Those who have their own transport are welcome! Garbage bags, refreshments, and snacks will be provided.

Make sure to bring your hats, sunscreen & water bottles!

This year's theme for Ocean's day is "The Ocean: life and livelihood" which sheds light on the wonder of the ocean and how it is our life source; supporting humanity and every other organism on Earth.

In honor of World Ocean Day, Councilor Johnnia Duarte, with the assistance of Mr. Elito Arceo & Mr. Miguel Alamilla, organized an Ocean's Day beach clean up at Robles Point Turtle Nesting Site. We thank them and their team for their support and to all our volunteers who made this day possible.

We are grateful to you all for taking time today to give a little back to the earth.
