Marie was a wonderful friend to our family, she took great care of us and made a wonderful breakfast when we stayed at the Sands Hotel many years ago. We stayed in touch over the years when she lived in tthe Houston area after she left the island a few years ago. She was married to George Parham for many years. We shared a great love for our macaws, and I will miss her very much.

She passed away this morning June 23rd 2021 at a facility in the Dallas area at the age of 91.. near her niece Renee.

Once Marie told me she was meant to be a clothing designer and that her inspiration was Cindy Lauper. She was a hoot!

She was a truck driver for awhile, that amazed me!
