On Tuesday, June 22nd, the long-time partner of Lord Michael Ashcroft's son Andrew, Jasmine Hartin, was spotted in San Pedro Town. The Canadian-born island socialite reportedly tried to see her two children but was denied. Hartin is out on bail after being charged for Manslaughter by Negligence over the shooting death of Police Superintendent Henry Jemmott. Hartin has relocated to the Cayo District, where she must report to the San Ignacio police station daily.

Credible reports indicate that Hartin, a mother of two, was on the Grand Colony property where her family is said to live. Grand Colony is next to the new Alaia - Marriott Autograph Resort, which her partner Andrew Ashcroft recently opened in San Pedro. In a video shared by Hartin, she arrived at the resort to see her children, but apparently, this request was denied. Hartin then confronted the father of her children, Andrew Ashcroft, who ignored her while she followed him recording a video with her phone. This footage was later shared with TV media houses such as Channel 7 on the mainland. A couple of San Pedro police formation members were later observed around Grand Colony, but there were no signs of Hartin.

Jasmine Hartin Hunts Down Andrew Ashcroft in His Resort, She Wants Her Kids

We're used to only seeing her in handcuffs being taken in and out of jail, or signing in for bail at the Cayo police station - all the while hunted down by a gaggle of cameras. But, tonight, the woman accused Jasmine Hartin is the one behind the camera. In some sensational videos she released today - she is seen hunting down, the father of her children, Andrew Ashcroft, demanding to see her twins.

Cherisse Halsall has the story:

This was Andrew Ashcroft earlier today running away from Jasmine Hartin, the mother of his children, Charlie and Elle, as Hartin desperately tried to get into the Alaia to see them.

It's been quiet on the Hartin front for two weeks now with the last we heard being that Hartin was settled on an Alliance compound in San Ignacio and reporting once daily to police.

But all that, it seems, has changed. That's because the mother of two says she has not been allowed to see her twins.

And via text Hartin told 7 news this afternoon, quote: "This is wrong and I don't know why he is doing this other than to clear his own name and distance himself..."

This video provided by Jasmine exclusively to Channel 7 documents the mother of two's efforts to see her twins. She describes security's efforts to stop her from seeing her children. She says this in an incredulous voice, shocked at the behaviour of these staff members, people she likely knew and trusted.

Jasmine Hartin, Charged with Manslaughter
"Wow! So you've been instructed by Andrew to stop me from seeing my children, that's correct?"

Jasmine's friend:
"You are part of this place so nobody can't touch you here."

Jasmine Hartin, Charged with Manslaughter
"Let me make sure this is recording."

Jasmine's friend:
"No court order, no police said you can't be on your own spot either!"

Jasmine Hartin, Charged with Manslaughter
"You guys, this is crazy!"

Jasmine's friend:
"It's just common sense."

Jasmine Hartin, Charged with Manslaughter
"I won't, I don't even want. I won't do that to my kids, that's how much I love them, I don't want them to see that."

Jasmine's friend:
"This is bullshit!"

Jasmine Hartin, Charged with Manslaughter
"He's gonna rot in hell for this!, like i'm not going through enough! like i'm not going through enough!"

Jasmine's mother:
"He lied to my family in Canada. He lied and I'm here representing my family in Canada and he is a **#@!^** liar. He's a [#%!] liar."

And later in a second video

Jasmine Hartin, Charged with Manslaughter
"Nothing Says I can't be in here, so I'm here."

Hartin and another woman, presumably her mother, walk through a hotel kitchen where she captures Andrew in frame as she follows him, phone camera rolling asking him why she can't see their children.

Jasmine Hartin, Charged with Manslaughter
"Why are you stopping me from being at my house and seeing my kids Andrew? You don't want to be on camera? Why are you keeping my children from me Andrew? You lied to my whole family. Let me see my children."

Andrew:
"stop, stop."

Jasmine's Mom:
"It's going in the newspaper Andrew. You lied to my family Andrew."

Jasmine Hartin, Charged with Manslaughter
"Let me see my children. Let me see my children."

He runs off shouting over his shoulder to ask why she's acting like this. And after all that drama, Hartin, who is reportedly due back in court on Aug 12th, remains separated from her children.

Tonight she claims that her former partner quote; " has her personal effects including documents and other items.

We'll have more on this story tomorrow. We are told that a friend of Jasmine's Hartin was arrested by San Pedro Police.

San Pedro to San Ignacio: Jasmine's Scorched Earth Campaign Against Andrew Ashcroft

We know Jasmine Hartin through the news, as the person accused of killing Superintendent Henry Jemmott.

Controversially, she's been charged for manslaughter, and while that case now wends its way through the court system, in the last 24 hours Jasmine Hartin has dramatically reversed her public narrative - presenting herself as a victim, a spouse spurned and a woman scorned.

Tonight she's now a woman at war with the Ashcroft Alliance, the same Alliance which sponsored her attorney, Godfrey Smith, during the bail hearing that saw her released from the Kolbe Foundation.

Now, all indications are that Jasmine has left the fold abandoning both the secure compound and the corporate bodyguards she had been afforded by her former family.

Tonight Cherisse Halsall traces the socialites' steps in San Pedro, hoping for a word from a woman who believes her life is in danger.

This was our news team's effort to contact Andrew Ashcroft yesterday, but security at the Grand Colony could only tell us that Mr. Ashcroft was unavailable.

And later that night, at the request of Jasmine Hartin, we headed to the police station to check on her friend one Rashida Thomas who had been detained for questioning following the incident that took place between Alaia and Jasmine's former residence. We were waiting there for her to contact us for a promised interview but so far that hasn't worked out.

And by morning there was no sign of Jasmine at the Alaia and Grand Colony - where she passed the night is a mystery. Via text, she told us she had to head back to San Ignacio for those famous daily check-ins at the police station.

And while she was last photographed there with a proper bodyguard provided presumably by the Alliance, the owner of a Belmopan-based security company, reports are that she has since ditched that arrangement, and he has been replaced not by any reputable company man.

But by a run-of-the-mill civilian, one is seen shielding Jasmine and threatening to break one of our correspondents' cameras.

It's perhaps with the new public image of Jasmine gone rogue - not playing by the Alliance's rules

And thrust into the spotlight on her terms - not as femme fatale or cop killer, but as a mother fighting to see her children - and willing to go up against the mighty Ashcroft Alliance to do it.

This will bring another wave of international press attention - which she may hope to wield to her advantage this time - but it could also draw the attention of authorities because one condition of her bail is to, quote, "continue to be of good behaviour" - something police say she violated with that outburst in a public place - but do her rights as a mother to visitation justify that outburst? We'll know on August 12th when she returns to court.

We'll be there for that court date, and in the meantime, we'll keep you updated on the developments of this case.

Exclusive Photo Shows Jasmine Hartin with Her Children

On Tuesday, social media was abuzz with videos purportedly taken by Jasmine Hartin. Viewers will recall that Hartin was released on bail on June 9 after being charged with Manslaughter by Negligence in the shooting death of Superintendent Henry Jemmott. Although her face never appears in the videos, Hartin’s voice can be heard as she attempts to confront the father of her children, Andrew Ashcroft, in San Pedro. In the videos, Hartin alleges that she has been prevented from seeing her children since she left the prison in Hattieville. Well, today, News Five has obtained confirmation that Hartin has, in fact, visited with the children at her residence in Cayo. That first visit was shortly after she was released on bail, at the private home where she was staying in Cayo, due to the intense media scrutiny she faced while detained and after being released. The photo shows Hartin and her two children snuggled under a blanket, her son hugging one arm while Jasmine holds her daughter with her other arm. News Five also understands that a subsequent planned visit with the children had to be cancelled when Hartin moved out of the home without informing the police or security. Her bail conditions include surrendering all her travel and personal documents, reporting to the San Ignacio police station daily, a curfew from seven p.m. to six a.m., and she must submit any travel requests to the court for approval. Hartin is expected to return to court in August.

Henry was protecting me.' Socialite Jasmine Hartin breaks her silence revealing she was the victim of an attempted rape at a party days before she 'accidentally' shot her Belizean cop friend dead as he showed her how to use his gun

Jasmine Hartin spoke exclusively to DailyMail.com revealing she was a victim of an attempted rape just days before she 'accidentally' shot a Belizean cop

The 32-year-old says she called Superintendent Henry Jemmott for help after the May 22 attack, when a man 'got very aggressive with' her at a party

'Henry told me, take my firearm, I want you to get comfortable with it,' she said. 'He said you need to learn to protect yourself, we need to get you a gun license.'

Days later, she says Jemmott revealed he had split with his fiance and wanted to take a break in Ambergris Caye, where he showed her how to use his gun

Hartin said she was trying to remove the magazine as he had asked, 'but it was stuck' and the gun went off, hitting the cop

'There's literally not a day that goes by when I don't cry and my frigging chest doesn't hurt and ache for his kids, for his family, for him,' Hartin said

She revealed she hasn't had 'a good relationship' with Andrew Ashcroft 'for many years' and that they had 'kept it together' for their kids and their hotel business

Hartin was granted bail two weeks ago, but instead of going home she went to a compound owned by one of the Ashcrofts' lawyers near the Guatemalan border

Jasmine Hartin arrested again and accused of Common Assault

Former partner of Andrew Ashcroft is reportedly locked up at the San Ignacio police station in the Cayo District. She was detained after reporting to the police station as per her bail conditions on Thursday, June 24th.

Hartin was informed that her arrest was for the offense of Common Assault, after she confronted Ashcroft in San Pedro Town on Tuesday. Hartin said she did not do anything wrong and was just trying to see her 4-year-old twins.

San Pedro Sun

Hell Hath No Fury Like A Jasmine Scorned

So, in our first segment, you saw Shyne Barrow, an ex-con, become leader of the opposition - a quite unbelievable career reversal. And, in another reversal, tonight another famous figure who is herself no stranger to the law is back behind bars.

She's 32-year-old Jasmine Hartin, the Canadian who became the target of a multitude of international cameras after the she allegedly killed Superintendent Henry Jemmott, the man she calls a dear friend and a good man.

Cherisse Halsall caught up with Hartin in San Ignacio in the moments before she was put back under lockdown.

I'm here in front of the San Ignacio police station where just moments ago Jasmine Hartin was arrested on a charge of common Assault.

This after, an outburst on San Pedro where the 32 year old mother of two made a forceful but futile attempts to visit her children.

Tonight, we bring you her first on camera interview:

Yesterday, we watched Hartin and her new bodyguard walk off in San Ignacio after she'd done her daily check in. And while yesterday's appointment seemed all but routine, today Jasmine's fears were affirmed when she was put back into a cellblock.

Jasmine Hartin
"I'd like to know why, I'd like to know what my charge is for?"

Police Officer
"According to San Pedro Police you are detained for Common Assault."

Jasmine Hartin
"Yeah, who did I assault?"

Police Officer
"I cannot comment."

Jasmine Hartin - Arrested for Common Assault
"Right now I'm just trying to process the fact that I'm being detained and the officer here is unable to tell me why. He says that apparently there's a charge against me. All I did was try to collect my personal belongings and see my children. I've obeyed every single court order, I've done absolutely nothing wrong here. This is absolutely ridiculous. I was warned yesterday by Godfrey Smith that the police were going to try to do something like this to me so I'm not very surprised but I have a feeling I know who's behind it's not a coincidence that this is coming from San Pedro."

The warning came from Alliance attorney Godfrey Smith in a phone call to Hartin.

Our news team had been tipped off that Hartin would likely speak today. We'd expected it to happen in a public place. But when we got there we were shocked to find her giving an impromptu press conference in the middle of being detained.

Cherisse Halsall
"You said to me that the Ashcroft alliance did not allow you to express condolences to Henry's family would you like to have the opportunity to have this platform to now express those condolences."

Jasmine Hartin
I'm beside myself, this is ridiculous we were friends for year s and he was a good man. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about Henry, he's my friend he was a protector and I have to live with the fact that I had this horrible accident. I miss him I feel for his family and his children and I haven't been allowed to say that. I was instructed by Godfrey Smith and the Ashcroft's to not say that. So, I'm sorry that I had to keep that in this whole time but now I'm being detained so if you can please help me and figure this out, I don't know why I'm being detained, this is crazy."

It's a detention, that at least in Jasmine's opinion is completely unjust, the result of an emotional outburst she says she was driven to after being separated from her twins.

But if you'd hear the Ashcroft Alliance's tv station channel 5, she saw her children at least once. But according to her that solitary visit occurring shortly after her release was the moment she claims Andrew chose to deliver custody papers.

Jasmine Hartin
"When he gave me those papers, I was shocked, hurt, confused but I refused to sign that, I refused to sign that. But there will be things coming out about Andrew very soon and previous custody issues that we've had in the past."

Now, Jasmine is on the attack against her former partner and with him the entire Ashcroft empire.

Cherisse Halsall
"Now, you've said that Andrew has wanted to distance himself and clear his name, why would he need to do that?"

Jasmine Hartin
"I think it might be difficult for him to clear his name after this because I have been protecting his name for so long but it might be time to come out about all of his past and what he has done and in fact I will be coming out with that very soon, I'm speaking with my lawyer in Canada bout this."

And what does the socialite feel about her bouts of detention in Belize's prison's?

Jasmine Hartin
"Prison is easier than being away from my children. I would go to prison every day if it meant that I could have my kids. This is horrible the worst ever that he's done to me is take my kids from me right now. And now I'm being detained again.0"

And shortly before Hartin was booked we asked her about that day after the water taxi, and why she'd been crying inconsolably.

Cherisse Halsall
"Can you just clarify for me, what was really happening at that water taxi, why were you so inconsolable that morning."

Jasmine Hartin
"There was an article out today actually in the Daily, you'll see everything about that. So I was attacked at a party and it was Henry that I called to come and help me. I was meant to stay the night there. I was uncomfortable I was in a very bad situation with another person that was at the party and he came and took me away from a dangerous situation."

Hartin remains in the San Ignacio cell block awaiting her attorney. It is likely that this charge, a violation of her bail conditions will land her right back at the Kolbe Foundation.

Jasmine Hartin granted bail for Common Assault charge; remanded after Supreme Court bail revoked

For a second time, Canadian national 32-year-old Jasmine Hartin was escorted by San Pedro Police after arraigned at the San Pedro Magistrate Court. This time it was not for the Manslaughter by Negligence charge she received on June 1st for the shooting death of Police Superintendent Henry Jemmott, but for Common Assault. She was granted a $1,000 bail plus one surety of the same but was yet a free woman. The same day Hartin was promptly taken to the Supreme Court in Belize City, where her $30,000 bail for the Manslaughter by Negligence charge was revoked. If she cannot secure another bail bond, she will remain at the Kolbe Foundation-Central Prison in Hattieville until tried.

The Magistrate then read the details of the Common Assault charge. This indicated that Hartin behaved improperly to security guards and other employees while creating a disturbance at the property (Marriott Alaia Hotel) next to Grand Colony, which is also Ashcroft property. Additionally, it was reported that Grisham tried to calm Hartin down, but instead, she attempted to push her. Hartin pled Not Guilty of this charge and stated to have been unaware that she was not welcome at Grand Colony, where she lived. Hartin told the court that after Andrew failed to take her children to San Ignacio for a visit, he would not answer her calls, so she traveled to the island to find out what was happening. "I was surprised to find out that I could not access my property. I only went to get some personal belongings and to see my kids," she said. An almost emotional Hartin claimed that the children saw her and were screaming, 'Mummy! Mummy!' She agreed with the charge details that she attempted to push Grisham but that she did not follow through with the aggression. "I was very sad and confused," she said. She believes that trying to get some belongings from what she says is her property and see her children was in no way a breach of her bail conditions. Hartin also revealed that she has no access to funds and has borrowed money from friends and reached out to her savings from Canada.

Hartin's Hotheaded Outburst Lands Her in Hattieville

Tonight, Jasmine Hartin is back at the Kolbe Central Prison in Hattieville after her bail was revoked.

This follows a dramatic, whirlwind week for the 32 year old Canadian who is accused of the negligence manslaughter of Police Superintendent Henry Jemmott.

She was bailed for that manslaughter charge two weeks ago - but one of the terms of her bail was that she must quote, "continue to be of good behaviour".

But Hartin flipped the script on her former partner Andrew Ashcroft when she skipped out of the Cayo hideaway that the Ashcroft Alliance had provided for her. She went rogue and ended up at the place she used to call home with her former partner, Andrew, the Grand Colony Resort. She was demanding to see her children - but ended up facing a charge of common assault against an employee.

She was arrested on that charge on San Ignacio yesterday - then transferred to the Queen Street police station last night - and this morning, whisked by boat out to San Pedro where she was charged for assault and for drug possession - a charge dating back to the morning when she claims to have accidentally killed Jemmott. At that time Police allegedly found 0.4 grams of suspected cocaine in her purse - which is now being described as a substance that is yet to be tested.

With that, the stage was set to revoke her bail - and that situation was confirmed when the Manager of the Grand Colony wrote the Supreme Court to inform the judge that they were immediately withdrawing the cash deposit and the surety.

That's a "go straight to jail card" played by the Alliance and it led Hartin to back to Belize City before her bail judge, Hebert Lord at the Supreme Court this afternoon where Cherisse Halsall picks up the story:

Meet Jasmine Hartin's New Attorney.

Richard "Dickie" Bradley, Attorney At Law
"This is persecution. This is not prosecution and if they can do that to somebody who the international media is following and who was the darling of the social elite just a few weeks ago, you could imagine what they'd do to the rest of us."

Hatin, who has ditched her former attorney Godfrey Smith secured Dickie Bradley's services this morning ahead of her arraignment for common assault.

Richard "Dickie" Bradley, Attorney At Law
"A common assault is a petty offense, nobody goes to jail for common assault. They are charged a little $25 and given time to pay. Miss Hartin remains in custody, her mother could not make contact with her. They found out after the fact that she was secreted out the back door of the station and taken to another station in another place. Eventually she was discovered in Queen Street Police Station in Belize City this morning. She was then taken from the Queen Street Police Station out to the San Pedro Magistrate court where 2 charges were read to her. More than likely under instructions the prosecutor is a good and decent officer was instructed to oppose any grant of bail, do you believe that. For a minor charge of 0.4 grams of some substance which has not yet been tested and for a common assault. They are opposing bail. In other words take away your liberty. In any event the magistrate quite properly granted bail."

But while Hartin got that minor bail a letter was being drafted for the revocation of the previous $30,000.00 plus surety with which she'd initially been freed.

And Bradley in his famous rambling raconteur style went on to illustrate why he feels that Jasmine's situation is incredibly unjust

Richard "Dickie" Bradley, Attorney At Law
"Excuse me? We still live the rule of law. I am really shocked by what is happening. She is being moved from station to station at night. This is not some "Gestapo" country, we don't behave like that. You imagine if you are a little poor black boy what they would do to you. In any event you are in court, we had a duty and we pointed out to the judge, yes, the surety has a right to request that I want to withdraw my thing, we don't have a problem with that. You can't ambush people. Don't allow that to happen, because what that amounts to is a Monopoly [game] thing called "Go straight to Jail". That's what they are doing. When it appeared that our submission to his lordship Herbert Lord, the judge was going to succeed, he appreciate that you can't ambush people. That is not fair, then they bring up a next thing... you know what your honor, this lady gone at magistrate court today and they read charge for her.... no man, what does one thing has to do with the next? There is an application by the man who signed. I could have questioned him in the court, but he wouldn't have like what I would have put to him, because this is an injustice that is going on. The court has made an order that the gentleman who signed bail has come to the court and ask for it to be withdrawn, the court agrees that they are going to allow him to withdraw. The court is saying that Miss Hartin is still entitled that his lordship's original bail order stands. She has been offered bail and that she is entitled to replace that surety at any time and that will be allowed."

And while one jounalist pushed Jasmine for a comment she said far less than she did yesterday.

Reporter:
"Miss. Hartin do you have anything to say?"

Jasmine Hartin, Remanded
"I have a lot to say but I just can't say it right now, but soon."

And while Jasmine Hartin is back in jail tonight, with her bail revoked, yesterday in Cayo she told Cherisse Halsall that she'd prefer to be in jail rather than estranged from her children:

Jasmine Hartin, Arrested for Common Assault "Prison is easier than being away from my children. I would go to prison every day if it meant that I could have my kids. This is horrible the worst ever that he's done to me is take my kids from me right now. And now I'm being detained again."

Chester Chopped Up About Jasmine Interview

This evening, Police Commissioner Chester Williams held a press conference via Zoom and weighed in on the Hartin situation - including the new charges now against her.

Here's what he disclosed in that conversation:

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"I know that there are 2 persons from a resort in San Pedro who visited the San Pedro Town police station on Wednesday and they lodge a complaint in respect to Miss Jasmine Hartin. Based on the complaint that was lodged the San Pedro police had requested that whenever Miss Hartin would have reported to sign in at San Ignacio Town police station, that she be detained as the major of the report was for use of indecent language, I think common assault and disorderly behavior. I also saw that there was some video footages that were on different news and social media outlets which to some extent depicts the behavior of Miss Hartin when she visited some hotel in San Pedro. you would know that upon being granted bail by the supreme court, one of the condition of her bail was that she is to be of good behavior and the actions depicted on the footages as well as the complaint made by the 2 individuals surely goes to show that she is not being og good behavior and so on that basis we are requesting of the DPP to approach the supreme court and to have her bail revoked on the basis that had violated the bail condition by not behaving in a orderly manner as the court had directed her to do."

We also asked the Commissioner about that drug-related charge for some 0.4 grams of suspected cocaine that was allegedly found in her position shortly after the shooting death of Superintendent Henry Jemmott. He said that police wanted to be sure before charging her for it:

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"When she was detained subsequent to the killing of Mr. Jemmott, police had found some white substance that they believe was cocaine, but were not so sure and so the substance was sealed and weighed and package in her presence and it was sent to the national forensics lab for analysis because we want to be sure and we have received the result of that analysis and it proves that it was cocaine and so he is now being charge in respect of that small amount of cocaine. I think it was 0.4 grams."

The Commissioner was also frank about what he characterizes as an overreach by our news team yesterday. You'll remember that Hartin gave 7News her very first interview since she was detained on the night of Superintendent Jemmott's shooting death. The problem is that Hartin was in the custody of San Ignacio Police yesterday when I spoke to her. Persons in detention are not allowed to speak with anyone, especially the press. And that's why the Commissioner is agitating for disciplinary actions against the officer who was responsible for Hartin's custody at the time:

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"Believe you me upon seeing the news last night on Channel 7, I was extremely pissed and I immediately called the OC in San Ignacio and asked what happened because that ought not to have occurred, but again, I guess the aggressive nature of Channel 7 they were able to infiltrate the police station and get their interview. While I cannot hold them accountable for what happened, I hold the police, because the police ought to have taken every precaution to ensure that the media did not enter the station and even more so, that they did not interview a person, a prisoner in police custody. That is a total violation of our protocols and the OC in San Ignacio had been directed to ensure that the sergeant was on duty be dealt with in respect of that matter."

Bradley Says Interview Was An Important Moment

And while Chester was chopped up about the interview, Hartin's Attorney Dickie Bradley says it captured an important and telling moment:

Richard "Dickie" Bradley, Attorney At Law
"Kept at the San Ignacio police station yesterday where a journalist from channel 7, did an exclusive that went not only viral but went around the world. It went on Al Jazzera apart from CNN. So she captured a moment in a woman's life when she's down and out and can't see her children and she goes to sign in as ordered by the court and they detained her on the sporous grounds that there is a charge for common assault."

Jasmine Hartin Still on Remand

News Five has confirmed that Canadian Jasmine Hartin remains on remand at the Belize Central Prison in Hattieville. Last Friday, the thirty-two-year-old mother of two appeared before Justice Herbert Lord and was remanded to the prison after the judge granted a request of Frank Habet to withdraw the bail he posted on her behalf as well as the signed surety of the same amount. Since then, Hartin has been unable to post the bail of thirty thousand dollars cash plus a surety of the same amount and as such remains behind bars. On Friday Hartin was also arraigned in the San Pedro Magistrate's Court for common assault and possession of a controlled drug. She was offered bail of one thousand dollars for those charges before she was brought to Belize City before the Supreme Court.

Hartin Free On Bail, Again

Tonight, after four more nights behind bars, Jasmine Hartin has once again, exited the Kolbe Foundation Belize Central prison - free on bail.

On Friday Hartin was sent back to Kolbe after her bail was withdrawn. The man who signed for that bail, Frank Habet, who is the General Manager of the Ashcroft owned Grand Colony resort, withdrew his surety, telling Judge Herbert Lorde that he was no longer confident that Hartin would show up for her court cases.

But despite the assertion by Hartin's attorney Dickie Bradley that it was an ambush, Justice Lord, respected Habet's application. That left no time for Hartin to secure a new surety and so she was once again remanded.

But tonight, the 32-year is out on bail after attorney Wendy Auxillou, of Caye Caye, who is reportedly a close family friend, posted bail by putting forward her land documents - at no charge, we are told.

Hartin's bail conditions remain the same including but not limited to: a curfew, daily check-ins, and an order that she continues to be of good behavior.

Tonight, we are told she is recovering from the roller coaster experience of the last few days.

Jasmine Hartin Sits Down With Cherisse Halsall

Tonight we have a tease of what's airing in tomorrow night's news. Our Cherisse Halsall just finished an extended interview with Jasmine Hartin, the woman accused of accidentally killing Superintendent Henry Jemmott. Now, she's also a mother in the middle of a bitter custody dispute with her former partner Andrew Ashcroft and the Ashcroft Alliance. She discussed how she's been treated by the Alliance since she's been accused of killing Jemmott. Here's a clip of that interview:

Reporter
"What's been the reaction from the Ashcroft family since you've been accused of manslaughter. How has their position towards you shifted?"

Jasmine Hartin
"Since the accusation of the manslaughter - from what I've been told by the family they were instructed to distance themselves from me immediately, that they couldn't have bad press associated with their reputation. So, therefore I didn't have any family come to visit me in jail, I didn't have any family call me, instead a couple friends came to see me, but never once was I allowed to speak to the children during that time. I didn't speak to their father; I didn't speak to any family members at all. My brother from Canada he did try calling me and then my mother was worried sick, but they were trying to communicate through Andrew and he was just keeping them at bay telling them that I was fine and that I got visitors everyday and it was a little bit exaggerated from what my mother, I am sure wants to tell you."

Reporter
"And so, this is why she screamed at him at why he lied to your family. Based on what your relationship with Andrew was prior to this incident, how shocked are you that he has been since then distance himself to this degree?"

Jasmine Hartin
"Like I am still shock, because even though like Andrew and I we've been together 7 years. We are not perfect, there's been ups and downs, we've definitely had a complicated relationship. It's been hostile many parts of the 7 years, but we are up, we're down and even with all of that though I can't believe how I've been treated."

Again, we'll have the full interview in tomorrow's news.
