While we understand that we all miss the sport we love, it's of utmost importance that we continue adhering to the Covid-19 safety measure and regulations.
Safety is our top priority!

FFB Supports Minister Kevin Bernard in his message to Athletes and Sports Enthusiasts to cease and desist

On June 28., 2021, Minister Kevin Bernard, during an interview with CTV3, reiterated a message to athletes in reference to the illegal playing of contact sports. Today, the Football Federation of Belize takes this opportunity to express our full support to Minister Kevin Bernard in his call to athletes to cease and desist from supporting, attending and participating in sporting activities. The FFB denounces the actions of all individuals who are in any way supporting these illegal activities. Additionally, any FFB employee found involved in the participation or promotion of these illegal activities will face disciplinary actions. We are fully committed to doing our part.

FFB takes this opportunity to implore all our football stakeholders to respect the Statutory Instrument and keep working with us to continue practicing all Covid-19 safety measures, guidelines and regulations. While we understand that we all miss football, we urge the football family that safety is our top priority.

The Football Federation of Belize also takes this opportunity to encourage our football family members to get vaccinated. Later this month, FFB, along with other partner organizations, will be launching our vaccination campaign.
