The renewal period for BTB Hotel License is quickly approaching and in an effort to ensure that we are all prepared, we have designed a checklist that will help you remain ahead of the game.

  • Check your renewal period - The BTB hotel license is granted for two years. Double check your documents for the expiry period to make sure it is up to date.
  • Determine whether you will need to submit a new application or a renewal.
  • If there has been any significant structural improvements to the property, such as construction, an updated DOE clearance and an updated Fire Inspection report may be applicable.
  • If there has been any change in ownership, management structure, or service charge, a resubmission of the application may be necessary.
