Fighting The Fake Vaxx Cards
We also heard the Health Minister touch on the criminalization of those fraudulent vaccination cards. As we told you earlier this week, the authorities have started to come across these fake cards, which are reportedly being sold for $300.
Those cards are supposed to function as an illegal backdoor for those persons classified as frontline personnel who don't want to take the vaccine, but want to avoid the alternative, which is the Mandatory bi-weekly tests.
This evening, we asked about the recent changes in the law to make possession or production of these fakes into a crime:

"So now any person who creates, who issues or who has in his or her possession a fraudulent immunization card is now an offence and is subject to not only a fine, but also to a confinement and the police officers are now given the authority to issue tickets in relation to any of these new offences."

"How widespread is the fraud of these fake vaccination cards?"

"I can tell you we are very much concern about it. We have identified at least 2-3 areas in the country where this is happening. We have gotten our hands on some of the fraudulent cards which I have passed on to the commissioner of police. They are investigating. We have made amendments to the law to make sure that whoever is found guilty will be penalize in the strictest of ways. The people who are doing this are doing a disservice to our country, they are undermining the entire population of this country and they are undermining the economy of this country and so I think that they must bear the brunt of the law, if found to be guilty of doing this."
