Flood watch: There is the possibility for flooding to occur over low-lying and flood prone areas as heavy rainfall is expected over the next 24 to 48 hours.24hr Forecast: Sunny skies with cloudy spells this afternoon with generally isolated showers and thunderstorms except for a few more over northern areas. Tonight and tomorrow skies will be mostly cloudy along with outbreaks of showers and thunderstorms developing along the coast at first then spreading to most areas.
Outlook: For Friday afternoon thru to Saturday afternoon is for cloudy conditions with some outbreak of showers and thunderstorms over most areas during the afternoon, then increaseing during Friday night into Saturday morning.
Zone of instability over Central America has 30 % chance of cyclone development over the next few days, according to the National Hurricane Center. In its wake, it will leave torrential rains in the southeast of the country and Yucat�n Peninsula.

REGION 9 - On the MACAL RIVER, reservoir levels at all BECOL facilities remains below the spillways; and at San Ignacio, levels are below the low-level bridge and steady. Levels on the MOPAN RIVER at Benque Viejo Town are near normal and continues decrease.
The BELIZE RIVER at Double Run is near normal and have increased minimally. On the CROOKED TREE LAGOON, lagoon levels remain below the causeway and continues to increase slowly.
REGION 11 - The SIBUN RIVER at Freetown Sibun is now below normal and continues to decrease slowly. Levels on the SOUTHERN LAGOON Gales Point Village is normal and steady. Levels on the watersheds on the EASTERN SLOPES OF THE MAYAN MOUNTAINS is normal and steady. The SITTEE RIVER at Kendal Bridge is near normal and continues decrease slowly. On the Swasey and Bladen branches of the MONKEY RIVER, levels are above normal and decreasing slowly. On the DEEP RIVER at Medina Bank, levels continue to decrease. The RIO GRANDE at San Pedro Columbia and Big Falls South is above normal and slowly decreasing. On the MOHO RIVER at Blue Creek South and Jordan, levels are above normal and decreasing slowly. On the TEMASH RIVER at Crique Sarco, levels are above normal and decreasing slowly.
REGION 13 - On the SARSTOON RIVER, levels are normal and steady.
