I haven't booked with exito, but there are only 3 airlines that fly into Belize. You would be flying on either American, Continental or Taca. I believe Continental uses 737s, American 737s and 757s and Taca uses the Airbus A320.

Jackie just alerted me to Expedia's 457.00 rate (That is with taxes included). I tried to get Excito's low rate last week, but when I called they said they could not offer that rate. Of course I already booked my flight last week for 100.00 more than Expedia's!!!!
Once again, I am convinced that it pays to wait until the last minute. (The flight listed is on Continental)

Enigma - here is Exito's web address. I've never used them but someone said they sometimes have excellent rates.

Exito is an excellent company, we use them a lot.

By quoting this reference you can get even a better deal:

Hi, trina I would suggest the Orange Walk area. There is a lot to offer there. In particular there is the Lamanai Outpost lodge that offers exactly what you're looking for. You can contact me if you need more info at

Ellydognme - $457.00!!!! Where do you fly out of? We got $606.00 out of LAX and that's the cheapest I've ever seen it. It seems a lot of you go to AC all the time so I think you must live in Texas or somewhere close where the airfare is cheaper than for us folks in L.A.

That fare is out of Lax and I just checked on it this morning. Last time I went (about four weeks ago) Continental ran a two day fare of 359.00. I went through flycheapol this time and got a fare of 522.00, which sucks because now that same flight is being offered for much less!

PS. I live in Bakersfield-so no cheap flights from Tx for me.

Hey Kayla! I'm in San Luis Obispo...and we traveled all the way to Belize to meet? lol One of my best friends is a Kern Co. fireman so we are in the Bakersfield area pretty often. He lives up in Tehachapi (Bear Valley) tho. If you ever come to the coast, let us know - maybe we can get together.

ellydognme - you sound like you go to AC a lot. Is that true? With the kind of airfafe you find I can see how that is possible.
