Hol Chan Marine Reserve team have replaced the demarcation buoys that were missing at Zone A, D and the exclusive recreational zone (ERZ) between Hol Chan Channel and Shark Ray Alley!! Even one of our resident sea turtle came to approve of the job being done!

Demarcation buoys are important as they notify the boundaries of a marine reserve.

Hol Chan Marine Reserve rangers prepping mooring buoys for reinstallation at the different sites within the Reserve. If you come across any of our buoys that have detached from the pins, kindly contact us so that we can retrieve them.
