We are monitoring two tropical waves, Invest 90L + UNDESIGNATED) tracking west at 13 mph in the general direction of the Lesser Antilles. Both waves are being monitored for possible cyclone development, September 27 - October 3, 2021, to be named either Victor or Wanda. Thus, all people/friends in the East Caribbean Islands should monitor the possible formation of a cyclone in the upcoming week with potential impacts October 4-5, 2021.

A broad area of low pressure located several hundred miles southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands is producing a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Environmental conditions are conducive for further development, and a tropical depression is likely to form during the next day or two while the system moves westward to west-northwestward at 5 to 10 mph over the central tropical Atlantic.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...high...70 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...high...90 percent.

A tropical wave located over the far eastern tropical Atlantic several hundred miles southeast of the Cabo Verde Islands continues to produce a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Upper-level winds are conducive for gradual development, and a tropical depression is likely to form in a day or two while the disturbance moves westward to west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph over the far eastern tropical Atlantic.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...high...70 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...high...90 percent.

Not a lot happening, weather wise, slow easterly Caribbean winds, with a little cloud, but no rain. Slight trace of high level from the NW but no clashing. Just a thin blanket of lifted fog over much of Belize.
Temperatures have started to drop, not the day maximum or night minimum, but warming up later in the morning now and cooling earlier in the evening.

Looks as if today will be a dry day, but with significant clouds. No rain on the radar.
