General Situation:
Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: Present Condition: Mostly cloudy skies this morning. Partly cloudy in San Pedro. Mainly fair conditions to prevail.
Advisories: None.
24-hour forecast: Sunny with a few cloudy spells today and clear to partly cloudy tonight. Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated.
Winds: E, 0-10 kts

Waves: 1-3 ft

Outlook: Generally fair conditions for Sunday and Sunday night. Showers will be isolated along with the chance for isolated afternoon thunderstorms over the mountains.
Sargassum Forecast from October 5 to October 13: There continues to be a medium chance of sargassum affecting local beaches during the next few days. San Pedro has a medium probability and a moderate impact.

The Caribbean Sea

There are two tropical waves in the Atlantic, and one in the Caribbean.

A tropical wave is currently located E of the Lesser Antilles producing active weather and fresh to strong winds. Refer to the Tropical Waves section for more information. Otherwise, gentle to moderate trade winds prevail, with the exception of light to gentle winds over the NW Caribbean. Seas are 3 to 5 ft across most of the waters S of 18N E of 83W, and 1 to 3 ft over the NW Caribbean. Seas of 7-9 ft are noted in association with the tropical wave.

For the forecast, the tropical wave currently located E of the Lesser Antilles along 55W/56W will bring showery and windy conditions to the Windward Islands later today, then the Leeward Islands tonight; and the US/UK Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico late on Sun. It might reach Hispaniola on Mon. Seas of 7-9 ft will follow the wave axis over the Atlantic waters through early Mon.

Marty OP	We are monitoring multiple tropical waves spreading widespread tropical squalls across the entire Atlantic basin. Cyclone development is NOT expected in the tropical Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean, and or the Gulf of Mexico. Take precautions as needed from heavy rain and flooding. There are currently no organized tropical features in the Atlantic basin. An area of low pressure located about 200 miles south-southeast of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, continues to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Environmental conditions could briefly become marginally conducive for the low to acquire subtropical characteristics through early Sunday. However, by late Sunday and Monday, environmental conditions should become unfavorable for any further development. The low is forecast to move slowly northwestward during the next day or so near the North Carolina coast. Therefore, interests along the North Carolina coast should monitor the progress of this system. * Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...40 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...medium...40 percent. Marty OP	The easterly Caribbean winds have a few clouds in them, but there is a strong high level from the west, causing sone clashing and causing some isolated rain showers anywhere. Looks as if today will be a mixture of high and low cloud and sunshine, with a small chance of the odd rain shower. Temperatures in Belmopan : ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler ) Last Night 25°C 77°F Yesterday max. 30°C 89°F Yesterday Rain 8.5 mm (0.3") Over Night Rain 0 mm (0")

Drier conditions setting in over area. 24hr Forecast: Sunny with cloudy spells during the daytime and cloudy at times tonight. Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated, except for a few more developing inland this afternoon and over coastal areas tonight. Outlook: (Sunday afternoon - Midday monday) Mainly fair with only isolated showers.
