There are no disturbances in either the Atlantic basin or eastern Pacific basin that have any potential for tropical cyclone development during the next five days. We are monitoring an expansive, tropical wave drifting to the west at 5 mph. This tropical wave, according to increasing model guidance, is hinting at possible cyclone development and or impacts in the upcoming week, October 21-23, 2021. ![[Linked Image]](//Ambergriscaye.com/art8/246151276_4716211068431734_3110129781317582098_n.jpg) While we are still far from the end of the season it does tend to drop off quickly for the latter half of October into November. Though usually not this quickly. At this time there are no organized areas of tropical features that show signs of development. Despite the quiet period and the typical drop climatologically we still have an official 6 more weeks (and some change) of the season, so we will have to remain watchful at least through that time. There has been a fair amount of rain earlier, but now reducing. There is a cold front coming down over the Gulf, it will probably not reach us, but not clear yet if it will have any effect on our weather. The Caribbean winds are from the ENE and there is high level over Belize from the NNE which helped to cause that rain, but there is other high level coming from the SW over Honduras. Looks as if today will be a mixture of sunshine and cloud, with a significat chance of rain showers, particularly this afternoon. Temperatures in Belmopan : ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler ) Last Night 24°C 76°F Yesterday max. 32°C 90°F Yesterday Rain 0 mm (0") Over Night Rain 7 mm (0.3")
