The San Pedro Traffic Department will like to remind the general public that the following regulations and disposal of derelict vehicle regulation will be enforced starting November 15,2021.

THE SAN PEDRO TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT WOULD LIKE TO REMIND THE GENERAL PUBLIC THAT ANY VIOLATION OF THE FOLLOWING MOTOR VEHICLE & ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION WILL RESULT IN THE ISSUING OF A TRAFFIC TICKET.

R10: USING UNAUTHORIZED PLATES ON A MOTOR VEHICLE.

R7: USING A VEHICLE WITHOUT BOTH IDENTIFICATION PLATES.

R8: USING TRAILERS WITHOUT IDENTIFICATION PLATES.

R20 (A) II: FAILURE TO DISPLAY LICENSE STICKER ON A TRAILER. (TRAILER MUST HAVE REFLECTORS/LIGHTS)

R20 1(5): FAIL TO DISPLAY INSURANCE STICKER.

R159: UNAUTHORIZED LAMPS. (THERE SHALL NOT BE FIXED LAMPS OTHER THAN THOSE REQUIRED BY THESE REGULATIONS EXCEPT WITH THE WRITTEN PERMISSION OF THE DEPARTMENT.)

S11 (1) (c): EXCESSIVE PASSENGERS ON ANY MOTOR VEHICLE OR TRAILER. (AS SHOWN ON THE CERTIFICATE OF TITLE, MOTORCYCLES MUST NOT CARRY MORE THAN TWO PASSENGERS.) (AS SHOWN ON THE CERTIFICATE OF TITLE, A FOUR-SEATER GOLF CART MUST NOT CARRY MORE THAN FOUR PASSENGERS, SIX SEATERS MUST NOT CARRY MORE THAN SIX PASSENGERS.)

R68 (6): PERSONS IN MOTOR VEHICLE NOT PROPERLY SEATED.

R119 (3): OBSTRUCTING THE FREE FLOW OF TRAFFIC.

R126 (2): UNSECURED LOAD.

(VEHICLE CONSIDERED DERELICT (JUNK, SCRAPPED, DISMANTLED) MUST BE PROPERLY DISPOSED OF.)

KINDLY NOTE THE FOLLOWING REGULATIONS WILL BE ENFORCED STARTING NOVEMBER 15, 2021. DISPOSAL OF DERELICT VEHICLES REGULATION WILL BE ENFORCED STARTING NOVEMBER 15,2021.

Mayor Wally Nunez and the San Pedro Town Council have instructed the Sanitation Department to begin the removal of Derelict Vehicles from various areas of the island.

Thank you to the residents that have reported using the online form. A first batch have been removed and is in the process of being moved off the island.

Update: Mayor Wally Nunez and the San Pedro Town Council are proud to announce that the 1st Shipment of Derelict Vehicles are in the process of being removed off the island.
