Scattered tstorms are along the front. ASCAT pass shows fresh N winds behind the front covering the NW Caribbean, except for locally strong N winds off the coast of Honduras and Nicaragua, N of 11N to 17N between 80W to 83W. Seas of 6 to 7 ft are occurring in the strong wind area, with 3 to 6 ft seas elsewhere behind the front. Pacific monsoon trough extends from northern Colombia W across Panama and Costa Rica. There are no active tropical storms across the Atlantic at this time. Non-tropical low pressure moving eastward away from the U.S. southeastern coast is not expected to develop or acquire tropical characteristics. It will bring some rain and wind to Bermuda over the next day or so before moving eastward away from the island.

Elsewhere across the Atlantic, tropical development is not expected during the next few days.

Beautiful sunrise!

The north cold air has pushed the cloud down into Honduras, but has been forming other clouds over the Yucatan and that did result in some rain in the Yucatan and into Corozal earlier, but now drying up. The high level SW is way over to the east of Honduras.

Looks as if today will be mainly sunny for most of us, no rain expected.
