The Caribbean Sea
A cold front is noted from western Cuba to the Yucatan Peninsula.
Convection previously associated with this weakening front as
dissipated overnight. The monsoon trough is along 09N from Panama
to Colombia, with little associated weather. Fresh to locally
strong winds are ocurring offshore Colombia, otherwise gentle to
moderate winds prevail. Seas are 2 to 4 ft, except 5 to 7 ft N of
Colombia in the south-central Caribbean.
High pressure north of the area will support fresh to strong
trade winds into tonight over the south-central Caribbean, and
gentle to moderate trade winds elsewhere. As the high gradually
shifts east, a series of weak cold fronts will enter the northwest
Caribbean, then stall and dissipate from Cuba to the Gulf of
Honduras through mid-week. Some fresh NE winds can be expected
behind these fronts.

Satellite images show a new cold front between the border of Mexico and the United States that will come to strengthen the conditions of the upcoming weather. The front will advance over the western part of Cuba, Belize, and Guatemala with sprinkler activity and thunderstorms. The front will be weak, which will favor a cooling in temperatures in the northern countries of Central America this weekend. Tropical conditions are calm and quiet for the entire Atlantic basin. No cyclone development and or tropical threats exist to the Caribbean, East Atlantic, South America, Central America, and Gulf of Mexico. Nice sun rays!
There have been significant changes to the weather. The easterly Caribbean winds which had taken over from the cold front, are no being pushed down by more cool air from the north, not exactly a cold front but a boxy of air coming down over the Gulf. That, together with high level cloud from the SW is clashing to cause a lot rain, presently, most out over the sea, but there are smaller patches or rain on land, there was a lot in Guatamala last night. Basically we are in unstable weather an it is again warmer than the average for this time of the year.
Looks as if today will be a mixture of clouds, patches of sunshine and patches of rain.
Temperatures in Belmopan : ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler ) Last Night 24°C 75°F Yesterday max. 31°C 88°F Yesterday Rain 0.7 mm ( 0") Over Night Rain 1.0 mm ( 0.04" )

Rain patches are increasing due to the clashing of cool air form the north, the Caribbean air now from the NNE and the high level winds from the SW. Present Condition: Mostly cloudy including in San Pedro. Moist and relatively unstable conditions will prevail during the next few days. 24hr Forecast: Cloudy at times with a few showers, periods of rain or isolated thunderstorms across the country this afternoon. Activity will become mostly isolated by tonight but continue offshore and over some coastal areas into tomorrow morning. Then a few showers, periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms will redevelop over most places by midday. Outlook: A few showers, periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms over most places Sunday afternoon. Then activity will increase mainly along the coast Sunday night into Monday morning. Cold front #Cauich no. 8 is approaching the Peninsula. "Cauch" is expected to arrive in the area Saturday night or early Sunday.
