Ministry and tourism officials met with executive members of Aeromar, Volaris, and Viva Aerobus airlines in Mexico City today, November 23, to discuss airlift to Belize from Mexico which will create new routes for Mexican visitors and by extension Europeans as well.
The delegation included Hon. Anthony Mahler (Minister, Tourism and Diaspora Relations), Hon. Andre Perez (Minister, Blue Economy and Civil Aviation), His Excellency Oscar Arnold (Ambassador to the United Mexican States), Mr. Evan Tillett (Director of Tourism, Belize Tourism Board), Mr. Anthony Hunt (Chairman, Aviation Development Committee-ADC) and Mr. Nicolas Gurwicz (Airlines Development Consultant).
The delegation also had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Enrique Beltraena (CEO/Director General, Volaris) and his team Wei Jin (Director, Network Planning) and Ms. Maria Mauricio (Senior Manager, Network Planning).
