Saturday January 15 a cold front will move over north, northeast, east and southeast of Mexico. The image below is for the day Saturday in the afternoon while the front quickly advances arriving early Sunday morning to the peninsula and the western part of Cuba. The front band of the system will bring cloudiness, rains with lightning, and a lowering of temperatures. People should be cautious due to strong wind and waves that would run between 2 to 4 meters in coastal areas.

The easterly Caribbean winds are pushing back over the cool air, causing some cloud over parts of southern and central Belize.

Looks as if today will be mainly sunny, with some cloud and probably no rain.

Temperatures in Belmopan : ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler )
Last Night 21°C 69°F Yesterday max. 26°C 79

The cold air from the north is not giving up to the Caribbean winds, they are presently fighting it out over the Gulf.

Cold front #Mukul (num. 22) getting closer to the Yucatan Peninsula. It already left winds of more than 100 km/h in Veracruz. Effects are expected to start being felt across the Peninsula after midnight.
