Adaly Ayuso, Councillor with the portfolio of Tourism Development has spearheaded along with Mayor Wally Nunez and the San Pedro Town Council in collaboration with the Belize Tourism Board a phased project to upgrade the Boca Del Rio area. The first phase includes the construction of 12 palapas which will follow by the renovation of the children playground area and the fixing of the beach area with the construction of a protective cove. This project intends to promote the area as a destination attraction for both tourist and locals.
