The curfew, as you know, starts at 11pm on weekdays and Sundays, and at midnight on Friday and Saturday. We asked the minister of tourism if he feels it's time to get rid of that restriction, which is ultimately hurting the tourism industry. He said we need to open up - but safely.

"The borders are now open, you guys say you're discussing it in Cabinet, but the curfew was extended for another moth, can I get your thoughts on that particular measure and it's effect or the lack thereof?"

"Now that we've been living with Omicron for a little bit over a month, I think we need to open the economy as best as possible, still taking in consideration the health protocols that are needed to keep our people safe but it's time that we open up."
