Thousands of Belizeans have been crossing both the northern and western borders since Monday. But as we've told you, there's been complaints that Guatemala requires a $165 dollar COVID test before you can enter into Melchor. It's turned a lot of Belizeans away, but the two countries may be able to strike a deal.

Reliable sources have told us that, starting today, Guatemala is willing to suspend the testing requirement for Belizeans who want to go into Melchor just for the day.

But of course, they're doing this in the hope that perhaps Belizean authorities can reciprocate for Guatemalans, who also need to take a $100 test at our border.
