23- year-old Danielle Gonzalez became a victim of grievous harm on Friday night after she'd returned from a night of socializing with friends - and tonight a policeman stands accused.
It happened at about 10:00 p.m. in the moments after she'd arrived at a friend's house in the San Juan Area. That's when her alleged assailants, policeman Angel Coye and his alleged accomplice Adrian Cobo approached her hurling insults. Police say they proceeded to assault her by shoving her in the face and stamping her right foot.
Gonzalez was issued with medico-legal forms where a medical officer classified her injuries as Grievous Harm.
And this morning police arrested and charged both Cobo and Coye for grievous harm. They were both arraigned at the San Pedro Magistrate Court where they were both offered bail of $1,000.00 dollars.
Additionally, there were conditions set upon their bail mainly that neither of them attempt to contact the victim or any member of her family and not to be within 100 yards of the complainant.
