Rain forecast analysis for the next few days, watch out South America, Central America, North America and the Caribbean.

Satellite images show the cold front that spreads from the Atlantic crossing the central-eastern part of Cuba reaching the north coast of Honduras almost stationary but not advancing further and will dissipate over the western Caribbean Sea. While the mass of cold air covers the eastern and southern states of Mexico, the Yucatan Peninsula, northern Guatemala and Belize for tonight and early morning, very cold temperatures are expected over the region

The easterly Caribbean winds are now mowing away the cold air, resulting in a lot of cloud and patches of light rain. Heavier rain out at sea.

Looks as if today will be mainly cloudy, might thin in a few patches later, the chance of the odd light rain area.

As some of you have seen by now, the entire country is covered by thick cloud, and increasing drizzle, turning into light rain in many parts.

The blanket of cloud is still over Belize, and rain still coming in. The cold surface wind is from the SSW.
