APAMO has a great video out talking about the forests of Belize.

While 60% of our national territory is under forest cover and nearly half of our national territory is safeguarded by some form of protected area, deforestation remains an immediate threat to our forested areas. With this short video, we want to shed light on the importance of trees and why you should be concerned about deforestation. Remember, all living things are connected, like a web uniting us all. If one branch from the tree of life falls, the rest will surely follow. We must all reconnect with nature before it’s too late, so let’s come together to protect our forests, jungles, and trees for the sake of all life on our beautiful green and blue planet!
