In response to concerns expressed last week Saturday over long-extended lines at the Phillip Goldson International Airport, Minister Andre Perez commissioned a team of the Ministry of Blue Economy and Civil Aviation to conduct an assessment of the situation.

Led by CEO Kennedy Carrillo and Director of Civil Aviation, Nigel Carter the initial assessment was conducted and several measures were implemented. The team is happy to report this Saturday that after the implementation of these specific measures, passenger flows have greatly improved.

But, the work of improving the present conditions is not done yet. The team has already commenced work geared towards long term solutions that seek to improve the processing of passengers entering Belize.

Together with all stakeholders in the civil aviation industry the Belize Department of Civil Aviation continues to improve the efficiency of aviation services and visitors experience in Belize!
