Prime Minister Hon. John Briceno departed Belize today on an official visit to Cuba.

The Prime Minister will be accompanied by a Belize delegation comprising:

Hon. Eamon Courtenay, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade & Immigration;
Hon. Kevin Bernard, Minister of Health & Wellness;
Hon. Kareem Musa, Minister of Home Affairs and New Growth Industries;
Hon. Anthony Mahler, Minister of Tourism and Diaspora Relations; and
Ambassador Amalia Mai, Chief Executive Officer, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.

The Prime Minister is expected to return to Belize on April 30, 2022.

Hon. Cordel Hyde, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources, Petroleum and Mining will act as Prime Minister.
