We are proud to be guardians of this endangered species in our 30,000 acres of protected rainforest. Tapirs are known as the "gardeners of the forest." These beautiful herbivores eat the fruit in one place, walk long distances, and disperse seeds creating a plant genetic flow between habitats. Are you tapir fans, too?
