We can all agree the Sargassum is a huge problem for our beaches and tourism. I have watched for different solutions to address the challenge and none have seemed to be very effective. I would like to suggest that maybe instead of raking away the Sargassum and the huge amount of sand that goes with it, which in turn erodes our beaches, that Town Council and the Community obtain sand to "cover" the Sargassum at the shore line. It decomposes quickly when buried with sand and the off-gassing that creates that awful stench would also be contained.
Just one suggestion to try to keep the La Isla Bonita, bonita!
Thanks to all who work so hard to keep this invasion at bay.
