The Ministry of Health & Wellness received a large air cargo of medical equipment and supplies from World Hope International of Boston, U.S.A. Specific donated items included Surgical lights, Emergency supplies, Gynecology instruments and assorted supplies, Surgical and Orthopedic instruments and assorted supplies, crutches, commodes, gowns and IV stands among others.

Special thanks to the CEO, World Hope International, Mr. John Lyons. We also thank the Security Cooperation Office at the United States Embassy Belize and also the US Southern Command.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the Ministry today at the Phillip S. W. Goldson International airport was Dr. Javier Zuniga, Director, Planning and Project Management Unit and Mr. Manuel Matus, Director of Projects, Ministry of Health & Wellness.
