The Turneffe Atoll Marine Reserve withstood the major impacts of Hurricane Lisa. Following assessments, we are excited to announce that effective today, November 16, our Calabash and Mauger Caye picnic facilities are operational, and primed for the trademark one-of-a-kind Turneffe experience.

We are proud to announce that all our natural points of interest along the Nature Trail remained untouched, and our hammock bridge and prized observatory tower remained intact throughout the ordeal. Feel free to come and visit us and experience resilience & diversity at it's finest.

We take this opportunity to acknowledge Belize Custom Tree House Builders for all their support with securing our infrastructure pre-Hurricane and for the immediate restoration efforts on the trail post-Hurricane. Special thanks as well to all our outstanding staff & volunteers.
