It is with profound sadness that the Belize Fisheries Department announces the passing of our colleague and dear friend, Mrs.Vivian Belisle Ramnarace, Fisheries Officer on Sunday, 15th January, 2023.

Mrs. Belisle Ramnarace began her journey at the Fisheries Department in November of 2007. In these more than 15 years, she has been integral to the work that the Department does. She was a dedicated, knowledgeable, hard working professional with a vast network and a keenness to get the work done well.

We are heartbroken Viv. Your work family will miss you deeply. We were lucky to know you, to learn with and from you. Your legacy will live on in your beloved daughter and in your work. We will always remember you - your smile, your friendliness, your warrior spirit and the love you had for your family and friends.

We extend our most sincere condolences to her beloved little daughter, her Mom, her Dad, her Siblings, and all her family and friends.

"Too Well Loved To Ever Be Forgotten"

Rest In Peace Viv
