There is another cold front pushing right down this morning, it is over lapping with the Caribbean air over Belize and diverting the main Caribbean winds up northwards. There is no rain on the radar at present, but the Met office expect rain over night and into tomorrow.

Looks as if today will continue dry, but get more cloudy during the day, possibly little or no rain.

I do not usually use this earth.nullschool because it is not usually very accurate, but this morning, it is showing how the cold air is pushing down from North America, and deflecting the regular Caribbean winds up northwards, and forming a ridge of cloud over the Gulf. But you can see how the cold air is sneaking in around our Mountains and so Belmopan was getting surface winds from the SW earlier this morning. But the hot sun is now re-establishing easterly winds over Belize for the time being, at least over northern Belize.
